Friday, January 16th, 2009Groton Inn and Suites has upgraded the suites to include an ergonomic chair, work station and comfy new side chair. Remember all rooms have complimentary wifi. Also the apartments have new master bedroom suites’ furnishings. Always making a good thing better! Bring your ipod and dock in the clock radios or your favorite CD’s to wake yourself or for your listening pleasure. All rooms with the new CC/ipod docking clock radios.

Blessing of the Fleet
Monday, July 21st, 2008July 26-27 is the blessing of the fleet a traditional celebration of fishermen, familes and friends. Saturday is a festival with seafood and Portuguese specialities and dancing at the dock. Sunday is a fishermen’s mass and a street parade ending at the dock where the boats are blessed and then there is a boat parade.
